Home

We moved into our permanent house finally. I love it. It was built 101 years before I was born and I think it is beautiful. However, at this point it is in chaos from moving, so I've posted some pictures of the details that give it so much character. You'll get a proper tour once I can organize the mess.

An original Victorian tiled fireplace

A view from the attic room. I sat here and listened to the church bells in town.

The last four months have been some of the most difficult, demanding, stressful of my life. Raising a toddler, having a baby, selling a house, moving abroad, being an outsider in a new place. To have a place that finally feels like our home means a lot.

First, Esmé must be absolutely in heaven with all those stairs! I am so happy for her! I am happy for you that you finally get to feel like you are settled and at home. It has been a crazy last few months, and you survived! You are an amazing person! Dad and I LOVE you!

I am so excited for you. I can't imagine what a roller coaster life has been like for you. It was insane moving across the country and we didn't have a house to sell, or a new country to get to. I am excited to see the house in full when you get it all put together. And you are beautiful!

What gorgeous pictures of a lovely home. We can't wait to see more of it. Take your time- what a crazy adventure you're having. I love that front door! Your street really looks straight out of a movie set. You'll treasure these photos when you leave this memorable place.

Your home is lovely. I felt like I had stepped into a Jane Austen novel when I saw them. I'm thinking you probably just lived through what will be the most difficult 4 months of your life. It's just going to get easier, right?
