Annie is KIND OF this:
Nerdy; crazy; detail oriented; likes and is good at sports; etc.
Annie is HARDCORE this (put "HARDCORE" (must be in all caps) at the beginning of each phrase):
Beautiful; awesome at mothering; great at keeping our home organized, clean and functional; intelligent; book smart; street smart; artistic; excellent at raising Esme; the best wife; talented at writing (verse or prose); great at editing; excellent at cooking; etc.
I spoke with Esme about this last night and we both agreed that Annie has no equal when it comes to balancing out all the responsibilities that young mothers have. She does everything that needs to be done, wisely leaves stuff undone that only perfection requires, and still finds time to take care of her husband and daughter.
You are doing great Annie, and we love you for it!

Roo, you are amazing! What an uplifting, validating, and supportive tribute to your wonderful Annie. And of course I agree with all of it!! And may I add, she has a clever sense of humor that I find delightful! Love you, Annie.

She may also qualify as HARDCORE or at least CORE in the following categories: Ace of Base listener, Tremors aficionado (especially #s 2-7), and finally, consumer of NECCO wafers. For these reasons, along with those so beautifully articulated by Roo, she commands our love and respect, and we gladly give it.
Amen to that! Annie ROCKS, so does Roo and so does Esme! What a HARDCORE family! AND what a sweet husband to notice!
