A Rooism

Last night Roo was looking through some pictures of days gone by while I was preparing dinner.

Roo: Whoa! We used to be sk---- [trailing off nonchalantly and hoping I don't notice]

I look up from my task. He gingerly meets my gaze.

Annie: Skinny?

Roo [haltingly]: I used to be skinny...

Then I poured some extra cream into the sauce.

    We had a wedding picture in our hallway and for a while everyone said, you guys look the same then we kept getting... you guys were so young! We moved the picture.

    Ha ha! We've had one of those moments! Jacob literally gasped and nearly dropped one of my pregnancy pictures. I cried.
